Terms of Service

Welcome to TrustBite! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TrustBite mobile application
and related services (the "Service") operated by TrustBite ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using
TrustBite, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TrustBite, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to
comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
3. How TrustBite Works
TrustBite is a social food discovery platform where users can:
Core Features
- Pin food recommendations — Share dishes and restaurants you love with your trusted
circle
- Explore food nearby — Browse a map of food recommendations from people you trust
- Create & join Klubs — Form groups with friends and family to share food
discoveries
- Build your TrustBite Card — Establish your food credibility score through genuine
reviews
- Smart Suggestions — Get personalized food suggestions based on your taste
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create on TrustBite (pins, reviews, photos). However, by posting
content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your
content within the Service.
Your content must be honest and authentic. TrustBite is built on trust — fake reviews,
spam, or misleading content violates our core values and will result in account action.
5. Acceptable Use
When using TrustBite, you agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent food reviews
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to manipulate the TrustBite Score or review integrity system
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Impersonate other individuals or misrepresent your identity
- Solicit personal information from other users
- Use the platform for commercial advertising without permission
6. Taste Review Integrity
TrustBite maintains a Taste Review Integrity score for each user. This score measures the
authenticity and quality of your reviews. We reserve the right to:
- Flag or remove reviews that appear inauthentic
- Reduce the visibility of low-integrity accounts
- Suspend or terminate accounts engaged in systematic abuse
7. Klubs & Social Features
- Klub owners are responsible for moderating content within their Klubs
- You may leave a Klub at any time
- Content shared within a Klub is visible to all its members
- We reserve the right to remove Klubs that violate these Terms
8. For Restaurants (B2B)
TrustBite also offers services for restaurant owners through our merchant portal. Restaurant accounts are
subject to additional terms:
- Restaurant information must be accurate and up-to-date
- Restaurants may not incentivize fake reviews from users
- Offer-based features are subject to separate merchant agreements
9. Intellectual Property
The TrustBite brand, logo, app design, and underlying technology are our proprietary intellectual property.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written
consent.
10. Third-Party Services
TrustBite integrates with third-party services to provide its features:
- Google Maps — For location and mapping functionality
- Google Gemini — For personalized food suggestions
- Supabase — For backend infrastructure and authentication
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time
from the app's Profile settings. Upon deletion:
- Your profile and personal data will be removed within 30 days
- Content you shared within Klubs may remain visible as anonymized data
- Your TrustBite Score and review history will be permanently deleted
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
TrustBite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not
guarantee:
- The accuracy of user-generated food reviews
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- The quality, safety, or legality of restaurants listed
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrustBite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special,
or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to food-related
health issues, loss of data, or service interruptions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved
through the courts in Pondicherry, India.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or
email. Continued use of TrustBite after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
